2. Mohammad Shami and Jasprit Bumrah – 2021
India ended with a score of 364 in their first innings. Whereas England scored 391 to India’s response. India had very shaky batting during the starting of the match. They were down to 209 with a loss of 8. Shami and Bumrah decided to act out the hero and changed the whole pace of the game.
The duo batted extremely well and brought in India a score of 289 without any wicket loss.
3. Ishant Sharma – 2010
Yet again it’s a game against Australia. Where Australia had an amazing beginning, where almost all Indians lost hope of winning. They gathered a solid scored of 428 which eventually was carried out by Shane Watson, Ricky Ponting, Tim Paine, and Mitchell Johnson.

4. Ajit Agarkar – 2002
One of the most memorable moments of cricket history can be recalled as this performance. Ajit kept on hammering shots in order for India to reach a run score of 397 in the second innings. Though the nation was short of 170 runs.
India’s score of 221 runs was actually a response to England’s 487 runs. While at a 6 India was short of 170 runs. Ajit stepped at that moment and took the whole control. He stayed unbeaten till the very end and batted till he scored a century and ended up with 109 runs.
5. Ravichandran Ashwin – 2021
Coupling up with Hanuma Vihari, Ashwin single-handedly saved the entire match on the behalf of India this match. The fact that plays off, even more, is, the duo was injured during their performance. They were in visible pain yet they kept on without hesitating a single bit and scored 50 runs at one go.
Scoring around 407 in the final innings, India gave up went Pant was out. But then Ashwin and Vihari stepped and changed the course of the game and remained unbeaten by the opponent. While scoring 39 runs from 128 balls for Ashwin and Vihari managed 23 runs from 161 balls.
