Former Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) captain and batting maestro Virat Kohli’s disastrous run in the ongoing 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League continued as he was once again dismissed for a first-ball duck against the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH).
Virat walked out to open the innings for his side, however, he chipped a delivery from Jagadeesha Suchith straight into the hands of SRH captain Kane Williamson, who was stationed at deep mid-wicket. This was Virat’s 3rd duck of the ongoing season and the second one against the same team.
Virat Kohli has become one of the most-talked-about players, off-lately, due to his horrible form. In fact, he has booked a spot on the trends list ever since he was dismissed for a duck on Sunday.
From cricketers, and experts, to fans, everyone is taking to Twitter to express their opinion and thoughts on Virat’s poor form. While there are many who feels that Virat should take a break from the team and rest for some time, on the other hand, many have urged the RCB side to drop him from the playing XI.
But there is a section of people on social media who feel that Kohli is “distracted” from his game and has become the prized prop of woke, and Bollywood PR campaigns. Well, an old tweet of an Indian soldier has resurfaced on social media, and has gone crazily viral on Twitter, wherein, he has trolled the former Indian skipper with a hilarious Tweet.
In his tweet, a retired Indian soldier Major Pawan Kumar took a dig at Virat’s form with a Diwali joke
He had wrote:
“I have a Virat Kohli joke, but I will crack it on diwali.”
