Yuzvendra Chahal Drops a Relationship Hint with RJ Mahvash on Insta

Yuzvendra Chahal, the Punjab Kings’ star spinner, is making waves again—but this time, it’s not just about his leg-spin magic on the cricket field. The 34-year-old has been in the spotlight for months thanks to his off-field life, and the latest buzz has fans wondering: Is there a new romance brewing with RJ Mahvash?

Chahal’s personal life took a turn last year when he split from dancer Dhanashree Verma. Since then, his name has popped up alongside RJ Mahvash, a popular radio jockey. The rumors kicked off when the two showed up together at the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 earlier this year. Social media went wild, and speculation about a possible relationship hasn’t stopped since.

Things heated up even more during the IPL 2025 season. Mahvash was spotted cheering for Chahal at Punjab Kings’ clash against Chennai Super Kings on April 9 at Mullanpur’s Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium. She didn’t hold back, posting pics from the game—including one with Chahal himself—on Instagram. Her caption? “One for supporting your people through thick and thin and standing behind them like a rock! We are all here for you, @yuzi_chahal23,” complete with sparkly emojis. Chahal didn’t miss a beat, reposting it on his story and dropping a big hint in the comments: “You guys are my spine! Thank you for making me stand tall always.”

Mahvash kept the fire going, resharing the post with a playful jab: “Here to support kings this year @punjabkingsipl coz dosti tameez se nibhate hain hum bhai!” (Translation: “We do friendship with style, bro!”) Fans couldn’t help but wonder—are they just close pals, or is there more to this story?

Meanwhile, Punjab Kings gave their fans plenty to cheer about on the pitch. They clinched an 18-run victory over Chennai Super Kings, thanks to a blazing century from opener Priyansh Arya and a solid fifty from Shashank Singh. The team racked up 219 runs, a total Chennai couldn’t chase despite decent knocks from Devon Conway (69), Shivam Dube (42), and MS Dhoni (27). Chahal, though, had a quiet day—bowling just one over for 9 runs as the team leaned on its younger stars.

Whether it’s his game or his personal life, Chahal knows how to keep people talking. For now, he’s got RJ Mahvash in his corner—and fans glued to their screens for the next chapter.
