Ravishankar Jayadritha Shastri, better known as Ravi Shastri, is a former captain of the Indian cricket team who is currently served as the cricket commentator. He was a member of the Indian national cricket squad from 1981 to 1992, appearing in both Test and One Day International matches. He began his career as a left-arm spin bowler before transitioning to a batting all-rounder.
But throughout his career, Shastri has appeared in numerous forms. Former India all-rounder who was a member of the squad that won the World Cup in 1983. Later, he became a fantastic commentator before rejoining the Indian squad as its head coach.
Shastri has excelled in every one of them. Recently, Twitter users got to see the social media form of Shastri on Friday, as the former cricketer took over Twitter with many of his postings.
On Friday evening, it look like the former Indian all-rounder Ravi Shastri was in a wonderful mood. That’s why he keeps his admirers entertained by sharing photos of himself sporting a blingy jacket, a gold chain, and sunglasses.

During this, Q&A session on Twitter, Shastri revealed an amusing thing he would debate with veteran pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar over the fast bowler’s condition when he was a coach of the Indian cricket team.
He previously said about this while talking with ESPNCricinfo,
“Every time I meet Bhuvi (Bhuvneshwar Kumar), I have an argument with him. I say, if he can only focus and work harder on his fitness… his experience and ability in all formats of the game is remarkable. Every time we toured England or New Zealand, the guy was unfit.”
He added,
“I said, ‘you lost yourself 50 red ball wickets in the last couple of years’. If he stays fit, he is an automatic choice in the Indian team, forget Sunrisers.”
Shastri is now a member of Star Sports’ IPL 2022 broadcasting crew.
In terms of the IPL tournament, 68 games have already been played in IPL 2022, with Gujarat Titans clinching first and Rajasthan Royals securing second place with their win against Chennai Super Kings on Friday. On May 24, the two teams will compete in the first Qualifier. The third-placed Lucknow Super Giants will meet the fourth-placed team in the eliminator. The Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bangalore are competing for the last playoff slot.
