Ravi Shastri has contributed to Indian cricket in a number of different ways for over a decade. As a tenacious starting or middle-order batsman, a reliable left-arm spinner, and a long-serving backup to a number of captains, he has a long list of accomplishments. He was the glory man of Indian cricket at the period, towering and good-looking with a persona to follow. Fans got to see the social media incarnation of Shastri on Friday, as the professional cricketer took over Twitter with several of his postings. Ravi Shastri appears to be relishing his short break from the pressures of his job as India’s coaching staff. Shastri’s term as coach of the Indian team ended after the T20 World Cup last year.

He’s more subsequently played the role of broadcaster for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022, and he’s had his periods of hogging the spotlight. Shastri, for example, surprised his followers on Friday morning when he altered his bio to “Happy hours always.”
The former Indian all-rounder then shared three back-to-back photos of himself dolled up in a disco, along with strange captions, which perplexed Twitter users. Shastri held a Q&A session with his fans after delighting them by posting a few of photos of himself sporting a blingy coat, a gold chain, and a visor.

While internet users converted the images into memes, some suspected that Ravi Shastri’s account had been hacked, while others suspected that it was all something of a publicity stunt.
